U.S. Marines Conduct Final Seizure 2021 at Okinawa

U.S. Marines with III Marine Expeditionary Force, Force Reconnaissance, 4th Platoon and 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, in the 2021 EOTG Visit, Board, Search and Seizure course conduct their final exercise in Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 12, 2021. Throughout VBSS course Marines have learned and applied skills used for maritime boarding actions and tactics. 

U.S. Marines participating in the 2021 EOTG Sniper Course conduct helicopter fire drills on Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 15, 2021. During the exercise, the Marines fired on moving and static targets from the air, and were evaluated on their accuracy.

U.S Marines conduct Aerial Delivery and Forward Refueling Point Operations

SCOPUS - U.S. Marines with Air Delivery Platoon, 3rd Landing Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, establish a forward refueling point, Ie Shima, Okinawa, Japan, Jan. 27, 2022. 3rd LSB conducted a battalion field exercise to train core mission essential tasks and rehearse emerging warfighting concepts in preparation for future exercises and operations. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III MEF’s comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
