US Air Force in Agile Combat Employment Exercise
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., signed off on the service's first publication of the doctrine on Agile Combat Employment December 9, which codified a proactive and reactive operational maneuvering scheme to increase survivability while generating combat power across a unified deterrence suite. Working with experts across the service, the LeMay Center developed the Air Force Doctrine Note 1-21, Agile Combat Employment, to serve as the basis for ACE's operational doctrine. AFDN 1-21 provides guidance for Pilots to innovate quickly and generates generation-wide discussion to develop new best practices.
